Who is Hester Prynne?
In The Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynne is treated as an outcast. When the story begins in a settlement in Boston, Hester is in jail and is astir(predicate) to come out and go stand on the scaffold. She is detain because she has committed the crime of adultery. Most of the townspeople are round to witness the bundle of joy that is about to be revealed. In Nathaniel Hawthornes novel, The Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynne identity is foreshadowed through the rose bush, the garner A, and Pearl.
