Abstract
This taste set out to discover if categorised actors line would affect the recall of words . From the results ( put through appendix 3) it is clear to see that categorised words were recalled more than random words. The result from this experimentation showed from the data collected that t=6.00 with 48 df signifi grasst at the 5% level as p=0.05.
The possibility say categorised words will affect the number of words recalled. The null hypothesis: categorised words will get under ones skin no effect on the recall of the words list.
The results discontinue that we were able to reject the null hypothesis as the hypothesis was proved to be right.

Introduction
There ar various diametrical methods which are used in Psychology such as the sight method. In this method a random exemplar of participants must complete a survey, test, or questionnaire that relates to the variables of interest. Random taste is a vital part of ensuring the survey results are valid. The advantages of the survey method, is that its fast, cheap easy and convenient. Researchers can collect a very large amount of data in a relatively short amount of time. However there can be disadvantages; such as if poor survey questions are asked. Also known in psychological science as demand characteristics where the participant gives the researcher the answer they walk out the researcher is looking for or wants them to give. This is detrimental to any experiment as the answers given may not be hi-fi or the results may produce a ceiling effect. To revoke this, participant should not be informed of what the researcher is specifically looking for or pushed towards giving a certain answer. Although the class ethical procedure should be followed, at all times, by the researcher.
