I have been to various performances in various places in the join States and Russia. Among them, there have been good wizs and perhaps not-so good ones. merely none have ever been truly bad. The third in a series of six concerts being given by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra was performed Sunday afternoon, the 22nd of January and was one of the better performances Id seen. It was a delight to the ears and eyes. Each performance has its own characteristics, some pursual a specific theme while others touching on several themes.
This performance had an eclectic character of presenting a extensive excerption of themes incorporating various composers from a wide era. I hark back the organizers made a point to choose a selection of very nice pieces from a wide era with music evoking differing emotions on purpose as opposed to concentrating on one theme.
This eclectic performance was conducted by guest conductor Christopher Blair stand in for Maestro Xiao-Lu Li, and included a fairly spatiotemporal orchestra with solo pianist Michelle Kim playing.
