When asked who he was referring to, the Prophet replied: That person whose neighbor does not feel prophylactic from his evil. It was narrated th at a man came to Ibn Mas`oud and said; I have a neighbor that hurts me, abuse me, and get at me. He said: go (pardon me). If he disobeyed Allah regarding you, obey Allah regarding him. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: He will not get in Paradise whose neighbor is not secure from his wrongful conduct. - Sahih Muslim, hadith 15 Narrated Abo Horayrah: a man said: courier of Allah! So and so (a woman) performs the invocation too much, observe sobriety too much, and give Az-Zakah too much but she hurts her neighbors with her speech? He said: she is in Hellfire. Narrated Abdullah ibn Amer: the Messenger of Allah said: the outmatch of companions in Allahs sight, is the best to his companions and the best of neighbors in Allahs sight; is the best to his neighbor.
